// ARTS EDUCATION EXCHANGE: Send A Sound
Information:
At the beginning of Lockdown Arts Education Exchange launched the music production Project “Send a Sound”, asking people to send in audio (singing, rapping, spoken word, beats, guitars, synths etc). The project was a response to Arts Education Exchange having to close their music studio during the pandemic, and the isolation people were feeling within the community. The project was an opportunity to make creative connections with others and be part of a positive collective response to COVID-19.
Audio was created by a cross section of young people and local community members which were then edited by Arts Education Exchange tutor Robbie Redway (@Rondo Mo) to create beautiful soundscapes and compositions.
Those involved in the project include:
Abigail Hubbard (Liotia), Aimee Allin (State of Mind), Amira Newton, Aayan Bulale, Dan Scott, Elijah Femi, Elizabeth Head, Evie Warne, Falle Nioke, Gareth Grover, Jakl Music, James Crawford, Jax Titmus, Jim Dixon (Django Django), Luke Mcfarlane, Malpractice, Margate Social Singing Choir, Ollie Brigs, Matt Tomkins (Palm Bay Skates), Robert Stillman, Robbie Redway (Rondo Mo), Jo Miller SolstaSounds Uwe Derksen, Wordplay audio, Maxwell Taylor, George Lincoln, June Kiff
