This is a early audio snippet of 'Parakeet'... Parakeet is a critically acclaimed piece of eco, punk, gig theatre which is set and made in Margate with the help of workshops from local young people. It's explores themes of nature, the power of music, friendship and the right to stand up and protest.

The full show debuted at' Paines Plough Roundabout' Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019, but, this extract (Parakeet Audio) is from an earlier audio development of the piece which was performed by the amazing local up and coming talent ‘Amira' and was performed live by a 4 piece band at the music venue 'Elsewhere' as part POW Festival.
